Anderson County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot verify custody or release, post a bond, release a person, or pull official booking records. Please use the relevant official channel below for those services.
Official Routes for Anderson County Records
For sheriff and jail records, start with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. The office is at 1200 E. Lacy Street, Palestine, TX 75801. Its main line is (903) 729-6068; Records is (903) 731-8214; the non-emergency and file-report line is (903) 731-8200; and the jail captain line is (903) 731-8209. ACSO identifies Records as the custodian for sheriff and jail records and says requests must be made in writing by email or letter, addressed to Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Attn: Records, 1200 E. Lacy Street, Palestine, TX 75801. No public records-lobby hours, booking-photo fee schedule, or fixed response time was verified, so call Records before visiting and ask for a cost estimate before authorizing a larger request.
- For a jail booking or bond entry, use the official Anderson County Courts Records Inquiry and select Jail Records or Jail Bond Records. The portal states its data are current through the prior business day, not guaranteed for the same day.
- For a criminal case, judgment, or court setting after booking, use that same court portal’s Criminal Case Records, Judgments Search, and Court Calendar categories. A court result, not an original charge label, is the source for disposition.
- For a written booking-record request or any releasable booking photograph, contact ACSO Records. A public jail detail may show a photo in some versions, but ACSO does not promise that a photo will be published for each booking.
- For a warrant concern, consult the guidance on Most Wanted and verify with the responsible court or law-enforcement office. Do not assume an online list is complete or that an entry establishes current warrant status.
- For a recent city incident in Palestine, use the Palestine Police weekly field reports for narrative context, then verify a custody record through ACSO or the county portal. The reports are not a same-day jail roster.
- For a person sentenced to Texas state custody, use the TDCJ Online Offender Search. TDCJ covers sentenced state custody, not a current Anderson County Jail booking.
- For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For current ICE or certain recent CBP custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. These are separate custody systems and do not establish county-jail status.
